Fuel system services include:

  • Inspection: Checking fuel system parts for wear, tear, blockages and or damages
  • Replacement: replacing worn parts such as the fuel filter, fuel pump, or fuel injectors.
  • Flushing: using a fuel system cleaning product to break up and remove deposits
  • Topping off fluids: checking and adding fluids when necessary
  • Leak repair: checking for any leaks and repairing any leaks.

Some recommend servicing the fuel system every 12,000 miles or once a year. Deposits can build up more quickly in modern engines and can cause issues like reduced fuel economy, increased emissions and driving problems.
